Changes to your Pay by Weight
General Waste Charges
Dear Customer,
We are writing to let you know about an update to our general waste collection charges. Due to increasing waste processing costs across Ireland, our general waste pricing structure will change from 5 October 2026.
What is changing?
- General Waste Rate: The rate will increase from €0.15 to €0.23 per kg.
- Billing Structure: Your 6-monthly invoice will be calculated based on your service fee plus the actual weight of general waste collected from your bin.
- Recycling, Compost and Glass Collections: There will be no changes to these services.
The more you recycle, the more you can save. There is no action required from you. We will automatically apply the new pricing structure from 5 October 2026.
If you have any questions or would like further information, please contact our Wheelie Bin Office on 049 437 4825. We will be happy to help.
Kind regards,
Wilton Recycling Wheelie Bin Team
