Assistant Accountant

Wilton Recycling is a leading waste management and recycling provider. We pride ourselves on delivering efficient, reliable, and environmentally responsible services to our domestic and commercial clients. We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-orientated Junior Accountant to join our fast paced, dynamic Finance team.

Reporting to Finance Manager:

  • Responsibility for the entire finance function for a single entity within the Wilton Group including credit control and accounts payable.
  • Responsibility for preparation of the entity’s P&L, associated variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliation, completed to agreed deadlines.
  • Assist other members of the Finance team with other entities within the Wilton Group.
  • Flexibility to cover duties of other members of the Finance team during periods of absence.
  • Participate in the annual financial audit.
  • Maintain internal controls for compliance purposes.
  • Ad hoc project work and financial analysis as required.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum ATI Qualification with minimum two years’ experience in a similar role required.
  • Previous experience in a Finance environment is essential.
  • Intermediate excel skills is essential.
  • Experience with accounting package is desirable.
  • Enthusiastic and flexible team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communicator, written and verbal.
  • Acute attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a busy workload
  • Strong time management skills.

Benefits:

  • Full time permanent role
  • 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday
  • €40k–€42k starting salary dependant on experience
  • Benefits include pension and group life assurance

General Operative

Wilton Recycling is a leading waste management and recycling provider. We pride ourselves on delivering efficient, reliable, and environmentally responsible services to our domestic and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational tasks of a scrap metal yard
  • Material sorting
  • Loading and unloading
  • Support other site tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • General physical labour
  • Maintain consistent high-quality work standards
  • Positive work attitude
  • Be diligent and work well under pressure in a busy working environment
  • Be organised and prepared to work as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Good oral English

Licence/Certification:

  • CE Driving Licence (required)
  • CPC Card (required)

Benefits:

  • Full time permanent role
  • 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday
  • Salary €32-35k dependant on experience
