This event means a lot to us. It brings people together, it celebrates hard work, and it puts Ireland on the map for all the right reasons.
Ireland's Biggest Rally Weekend
The Donegal International Rally 2026 takes place from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st June. Three full days of fast cars and non-stop action in County Donegal. It is one of the biggest motorsport events in Ireland, organised by the Donegal Motor Club. The best drivers and teams from Ireland, the UK and Europe all come to compete. Thousands of fans travel to Donegal every year to watch, making it one of the best weekends in Irish sport. The action kicks off with a ceremonial start in Letterkenny, where fans can see the cars and meet the crews before racing begins.

Roads Like No Other
The Donegal stages are famous. The routes run along coastal roads, over mountain passes, and through tight twisting sections that really test the drivers.
The Inishowen Peninsula has some of the most well known stages in Irish rallying. Fast roads, big Atlantic views, and a real challenge at every corner. It is no surprise that Donegal is seen as one of the toughest and most exciting rallies on the calendar.

Ceremonial Start: Letterkenny, County Donegal
Stages: Across County Donegal, including the Inishowen Peninsula.
Road closures will be in place across the weekend so plan your travel ahead of time and follow the advice of marshals and organisers on the day.
